ABOUT US

TWI-ABM Training & Certification Sdn Bhd is a joint venture company between TWI Training & Certification (S.E.Asia) Sdn Bhd and Akademi Binaan Malaysia Johor Sdn Bhd. This new centre will provide an opportunity for construction workers based in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor to attend a range of training courses which will lead to dual certification (CIDB/CSWIP)

The welding courses will cover MIG, TIG and SMAW and have three levels of certification:

Level 1 - General Welder
Level 2 - Structural Steel Welder
Level 3 - Oil & Gas/ Pressure Vessel Welder


In addition to the welding courses, some NDT courses will also be available including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Radiographic Interpretation (RI).

The TWI/ABM collaboration has been operating for over 8 years. Over this period of time, more than 4000 Malaysians have attended the courses. Most have secured gainful employment in the oil & gas and construction sectors, both locally and overseas.
This new centre is further proof of the success of the collaboration between TWI and ABM.

On 2nd February 2007, TWI-ABM has reached another milestone. Akademi Binaan Malaysia and The  Welding Institute (United Kingdom) has successfully signed the Joint Venture Agreement

The collaboration between ABM and TWI has performed cohesive collaboration that enable business goal and expansion.
